Ringo Starr To Play With Oasis?

Ringo Starr, of Beatles fame, is possibly guesting with Oasis on one of their new songs off of their long-awaited sixth LP. Ringo's son, Zak, is temping as Oasis' drummer for their untitled new album. Since Oasis is finishing the sessions in Los Angeles, Noel figured that they could convince ole Ringo to guest on a song that...

"...sounds like The Beatles and we’re gonna try and get him and his dad on the same track. Then again, Ringo might just tell us to fuck off."

If Oasis' history with former Beatles members are any sort of precursor as to whether or not Ringo will lend his talents, I would take a wild guess and say he will refuse. If it's evidence you want, here is a taste (this happens to be one of my all-time favorite moments in rock history) of their rocky history together:

"In January 1998, the Gallaghers got George Harrison's son Dhani drunk on a New York-London flight. Arriving at the airport, Noel said to George: 'Hello George, here's your son. You have just been Gallaghered. Go and puke up in your Ashford home, while my stomach gently retches.'"
