"Blinded By The Lights" Banned!
The new
Streets video for "Blinded By The Lights" was banned today by
Ofcom over in the UK today.
Ofcom banned the video for showing Mike Skinner (
The Streets) taking drugs, receiving oral sex, and being beaten up pretty badly all at a wedding, all of which I can see their reasons for the banning. The video has been completely banned by music video outlets such as
Top Of The Pops and
CD:UK, and they are requesting Skinner to do an edited version of the song for them in their studios.
MTV, on the other hand, can show the video anytime after 11
P.M.
